Meet Ice Cube the Memory Bear

I'd like to introduce to you, the most handsomest of bears, Mr. Ice Cube. Stitched with love by the fabulous Sandi from Family Comforts., Ice Cube is the second bear in our growing collection of makes by Sandi. Made using designs from my ‘Arctic Adventures’ fabrics, which I created for Lewis and Irene, Sandi has really worked her magic and brought these fabrics to life.

After Sandi designed such a beautiful bear using fabrics from my 'Pressed Flowers Collection', it only felt natural that the next bear we had made be created with my little boy's favourite fabrics. 'Arctic Adventure'. This collection holds a special place in my heart as 18 months ago, we were lucky enough to visit Lapland and the Arctic Circle, so this little bear is full of precious memories. My son often reads to him at night and he is a beautiful reminder of our magic adventures in the North.

If you’re looking for a special gift for a loved one or a treat for yourself, we really can’t recommend Sandi's bears enough. Her bear's don't necessarily have to be made from a loved ones garments or textiles. A favourite fabric collection which evokes a special memory can work just as well. Not only does Sandi make bears, but she has a whole plethora of animals to choose from.

Now, you're probably wondering why our little boy chose to call him Ice Cube because he isn’t a massive fan of gangster rap. Hehe! We’re still not sure entirely sure, but when we took him out for his photo shoot we did experience almost every single type of weather in one hour, including hail, so he is definitely living up to his name!
