Winter's Garden Christmas Decorations
Updated: Oct 23

If you're on my Christmas card list, then look away now! I've raided my scraps stash and I've been busy using up some of the off-cut's from my latest collection for Lewis and Irene, 'Winter's Garden' to make these gorgeous Christmas cards.

These mini EPP patterns are from the lovely Louisa at Sewmotion and make eight double sided decorations. In the pack, you get enough papers for two of each of the designs - Posy, Sunflower, Tiny Hexy and Tiny Jewel. Although the fabric combinations and possibilities are endless and you'll soon find yourself wanting to buy more templates to have a play with!

I really enjoyed this little project. With the pieces being so small, it was perfect to take with me on the school run and stitch a few pieces in snatched moments where I would have otherwise been doom scrolling on my phone. Due to their size, this project comes together really quickly which is very satisfying. You really do go from scraps to finished product within a few hours. I chose to use plain white cards to showcase my decorations, but again you could have a lot of fun playing with different backgrounds for your ornaments.

Don't forget though, you don't have to send all of these as Christmas cards! You could attach them to Christmas presents as wrapping decorations, hang them from stockings, or give them as Secret Santa gifts. I may have kept a few back to hang on our Christmas tree, but shh, don't tell anyone!
