There's nothing quite as exciting as seeing your designs made up into something, anything. You can imagine your designs used in a thousand different ways, and still be humbled when you see them beautifully presented in a way you had never thought of. I must admit, Sally brought me to tears when I saw my designs made up into this quilt. Even though I'd been presented a couple of different pattern mock up's and after much deliberation chosen the pattern, I still wasn't quite prepared to see my designs given life in such a beautiful way.

Everything about this quilt is delicate. From the use of white to accentuate the palest of colours, to the long arm quilted butterflies. The subtle use of 'Petal Play' in white as the binding breaks up the edge gracefully. This really is a timeless quilt which encapsulates the nostalgia of a Summer's day perfectly. My daughter Sienna has already claimed it for her bedroom and I know many a teddy bear's picnic will be played on it, den's built from it and most importantly sleepy snuggles at night given under it as we tell bedtime stories by torch light. This will be a family heirloom and passed down for generations to come.
